How about a preview of what you might see!
If you need a little more of a nudge, take a look at this. Noted baseball photographer Jean Fruth recently released a book of great baseball photography – “Grassroots Baseball – Where Legends Begin.” The book, recently reviewed by Baseball Roundtable, contains more than 250 heart-touching images from amateur fields and ball parks across the United States and from baseball-loving communities around the globe – along with commentary from such “legends” as Hank Aaron, Juan Marichal, Johnny Bench, Nolan Ryan and more.
Why bring this up here? Because, on her website, Fruth includes a link to photographs she took of baseball in Cuba. For a look at those images, and a visual take on Cuban baseball, click the link below. While you are there, you may want to take a look at the other locals included in Fruth’s page.
